Well, it is time to say goodbye to the long summer days and hello to school. This is the first full-day, in-person, school routine that my family has endured together. Last year as we did in-home virtual learning, we had a fair routine, but this year is completely different.
Needless to say, none of us were truly prepared for the new meaning of back-to-school after a global pandemic. There is no easy button or one routine that will work to combat the change in mindset, energy, and effort needed to go back to school this year.
This routine adjustment looks different for every person and each family. Whether it is doing more preparation at night or waking up super early to get things ready before your child(ren) is awake. As your family returns to school this year, what is one back-to-school tip that works well for your family dynamic? I’d love to hear some of your advice and ideas. As I am a rookie this year and learning as I go.
While my daughter is officially in kindergarten, she has been so excited to officially start school, but that excitement does not wake her up bright and early. Even with a positive nightly routine: early bath, story, and bedtime. There is no rise and shine when her alarm clock goes off at 6:30am. So, we had to change it up for our morning routine. Singing and dancing while brushing our teeth, washing our face, and running to the kitchen to whip up a healthy breakfast. At the heart and center of our first meal is always Florida Orange Juice.
Did you know that one 8-ounce glass of @FloridaOrangeJuice is equal to a cup of fruit with no added sugar and may positive effects on brain function?
100% orange juice provides many important nutrients your body needs including vitamin C and potassium. Whether we have pancakes and eggs or cereal or a power fruit smoothie, we are always using The Original Wellness Drink – the best orange juice made in Florida.
